Friday 16th of September – The Road to Kamen

Germany

Today began with me making pancakes for breakfast, one of my favourites! Pancakes are always a fool proof amazing breakfast! Rosie and I were both very grateful at our opportunity to share pancakes for breakfast together! After packing and doing last minute organisational stuff Rosie escorted me to the train station. I was on my way to Kamen – a tiny German town near the Dutch border about a 4 hour train ride away from Den Haag. The reason I headed for such a random place is because this is the start of the unofficial German Bus Tour I am doing, which travels through Germany following Lama Ole as he gives lectures in a new town every night. The first stop of this tour is a weekend course in Kamen.

After a relaxing train ride I finally arrived. As I was exiting the train a random man asked me if I was here to see Ole, which I was, apparently it was obvious! Anyway it was very useful I found this man as he knew where the lecture place was and I didn’t so we walked together. I met up with Agnes and some of her friends who are also taking the bus with us and I also ran into Sabina and Marsha (who I met at EC), it was lovely to see old friends again. After the lecture we went to the Unna centre to have a drink before falling asleep.
